Nachdem Schottland und Nordirland für einen Verbleib in der EU gestimmt hatten, wird es dort maximal ein Jahr dauern, bis sich die Bevölkerung in einem neuen Referendum für die Unabhängigkeit ausspricht. Wales und Cornwall können ja dann einem gälischen Staatenbund innerhalb der EU mit beitreten, London (siehe Ergebnis) ebenfalls. Das flache Land des alten England verarmt inzwischen völlig und wird an chinesische Oligarchen verkauft. Die Briten werden nicht austreten.
Was die meisten vergessen: Die Volksabstimmung hat keine bindende Wirkung, sie ist nur eine „Empfehlung“ an das Parlament.
Den Austritt beschließen kann nur das Parlament.
Im Parlament sitzen grad mal 30% Befürworter, der Rest ist unentschlossen, bzw. der Großteil dagegen.
Wenn jetzt die Drohung einer Aufspaltung Britaniens über der ganzen Situation hängt, glaube ich schon, das viele Parlamentarier gegen das Volk und für einen Verbleib in der EU stimmen werden.

Ich kann nur hoffen, dass die Abstimmung des Volkes ernst genommen wird, zumal Großbritannien eine 100jährige Tradition an Demokratie aufzuweisen hat. und wir uns daran ein Beispiel für die Zukunft nehmen können.
Hurra für Großbritannien.

Die Sache ist schlimmer als Ihr denkt.
Die Karte oben ist übrigens nicht ganz korrekt: Liverpool und mein alter Labour District, der Wirral, haben „Bleiben!“ gestimmt – wie auch Leeds und Teile von Birmingham. Es ist aber schlimm, wie ich ja scho gesagt hatte, in Deinem anderen Blog hierzu. Mein jüngster Beitrag im uk.yahoo richtete sichgegen den zunehmenden Fremdenhaß und Rassismus, der einer der Hauptpunkte des Brexit war – LEIDER!

No programme, no plan, not knowing what next – is that the way of a „People’s Vote“?
Not at all: Xenophobia was one of the main programme points of Brexit, if not No. One.
Wherever you went in the Northern countrysides and elsewhere (where people hat seldom seen a foreigner – but had been told fake rumours that it was them who took away jobs and filled NHS beds) you heard „We’re getting crowded!“ and, of course „We want our country back!“
Those were the people who, then, approach any foreign looking face or family they see with friendly suggestions such as „And why haven’t you left yet?“ It’s not far from what some people in another neighbouring country had asked other „foreigners“ between 1933 and 45. It’s often those „some“ who can win a vote of idiocy, based on some faulty grandiose self-perception (and sledge-hammering down the sneaky doubts that „grandezza“ might yet be a bit overdrawn).
No, this „Referendum“ – wait a minute: We don’t believe in them anyway. When others did really sensible ones, like the Crimexit or so, just to run a away from a Regime of murderers – we said Referenda are illegitimate (but only when they are against our wishes). But let’s say: Those people there had a real reason – the Brexit only empty propaganda, and big lies: like the 350 million per week ex EU into NHS!
There are, I’d say, many good and valid reasons to doubt the legitimacy of this „referendum“ – and it should not be left where it is, and demanding a new vote on the grounds that the conditions of this last one had not been made clear but over-cast with deception – demanding this seems respectable and responsible, the best reason being that:
YOU CANNOT MAKE A DECISION TO DO WHAT YOU HAVE NOT PLANNED!
And to this day, there is no plan! Neither Lord Nigellissimo nor Tsar Boris have yet presented any good programme and map where to go (and I have just seen the opera of the other Tsar Boris with with whom it took no good ending, just as if Farage were called Dimitri Moseley).
But seriously: Would any thinking person vote to jump off a boat – without knowing there was a better than the sinking one safely waiting, or the shore not far? Britain did just that – or should we say ‚England‘! Alright: The joint jurisdiction of England and Wales. Why do Scotland and Northern Ireland think otherwise? And moreover: WERE THE WELSH TOLD THEY WOULD LOOSE 4 BILLION EU FUNDS? (per annum!) Don’t deny it, it does make sense to re-think and re-vote what one has been pushed into blindfolded and with sweet „patriotic“ (I’d say „Jingoistic) songs coming from the other side of a deep ditch that we are facing, but prevented from seeing. It makes sense to DEMAND A FULLY INFORMED REFERENDUM!
Therefore, ALL REMAIN VOTERS, ALL WHO DID NOT VOTE (and in London, for instance, many were prevented by flooding) SIGN FOR A SECOND VOTE!
Millions have done so already, many regretting what they did. It’s time to come to senses!
